I had been pretty pissed off for more than an hour now, and here Taran was keeping me from healing Seren which I wanted to do more than anything else right now. I started walking over to him and he backed up.

"No Taran, I have not lost my mind. In fact I would say quite the fucking opposite. My eyes have been opened and clearly you and my father have your eyes wide shut! Now do you want to get the hell out of my way or am I going to have to move you?"

Without a word he moved aside. I slamed the door shut as I left and made my way to my fathers chamber.

Knocking on his door he opens it and motions for me to enter. He says nothing as I make my way inside. I turn around to face and still nothing. A smile touches my face, he looks so serious. Then I begin to laugh out loud "That was a good one Taran, you almost had me believing you for a second there." My smile faulters as I see him look away from me. "You're not joking are you?" He shakes his head and I let out a groan. I am not sure whether to be happy she is finally taking on her royal mantle or freaked out as hell. "Well, hit me with the rest. What is the new decree she has instituted?"
